Minatura
was founded to pursue the exploration, development, mining and refining of gold as well as the exploration and commercialization of other precious metals available in the Republic of Colombia as the country begins to shed its reputation for lawlessness and violence. Currently, Minatura is actively mining and processing gold and silver ore in the San Pablo underground mine near Remedios, in the department of Antioquia, and plans to launch a number of other substantial projects in the near future for gold, silver, platinum and copper.
Minatura has a unique vision and business plan that enables and empowers local Colombian communities to grow and prosper through the development of their natural resources while providing superior returns on investment to its partners. Minatura works with local and federal government to maximize community employment, higher local tax receipts, job training and economic development while deploying the most ecologically friendly mining techniques and processes.
